Plugin Carousel - poor behavior when loading a wiki page

I have had the same issues - as I live in a part of the world with inconsistent internet speeds - I have found that most of the time it's an issue with internet speed. I suspect there might be some server settings that could help, but I am not a server specialist, and, I used simple 'shared hosting' (which also adds to the inconsistency of page loading speeds).
That said, a few things to keep in mind. First is that Plugin Carousel is fairly old, and while it generally works good, I don't know how well this Plugin is being maintained. Second, the bigger push is towards Plugin Swiper https://doc.tiki.org/PluginSwiper While the 3D Cube effect is awesome, it also has loading issues which are more severe than what you are currently experiencing with Plugin Carousel (see this Bug report)
In any case, the other configuration options for PluginSwiper work ok, so I think most of your issues will be solved with this plugin.
