Intranet Login Config

We're using Tiki on our company Intranet and it's absolutely fantasic! 😊

Being an internal system, we're not too bothered about security and we don't want our users to have to login everytime they access the Wiki. If they could login just on the first session and Tiki remembered their "logged in" status for the rest of the day that would be great.

I've tried the "Remember Me" feature but this seems to do nothing at all.

In the Login Module Configuration I've set:

OptionValue
Remember me feature Users and admins
Duration1 day
Remember me domain voyager.nexus.ourdomain.co.uk
Remember me path: /

We access our tiki install on http://voyager.nexus.ourdomain.co.uk/wiki/

Any suggestions?

1 day? Up that to the max !

However, there is problem with cookie management in all tiki versions except for 1.9 CVS where we are trying some new code. If you have a lot of menu sections, each section uses a cookie to determine its open or closed state, there is also the timezone offset cookie and a couple of others. There is 1 big problem, a site can only have a limit of 10 or so cookies. and we are well over that, especially if you use a lot of features, or menu sections.

The relation to the cookie problem and remember me, well remember me also needs cookies 😊

See CookieMonster page for some more details, Hopefully 1.9 final will be fixed. In the meantime keep loggin in or use http or even IP based authentication.

Thanks Damian, just what I needed to know. Changing to HTTP auth has fixed things for now.
