To play with Tikiwiki on your own machine locally without installing much there are different ways. You may:
- Try Tikiwiki with maps feature in a virtual machine using VMWare
- Try TikiWIki 1.9 Developer Release (CVS from 13. November 2004) on a Knoppix CD
- Try Tikiwiki 1.9.5 CVS from July 24th, 2006 on an English language, Gentoo based custom livecd - Mapserver included
